During my H4 EAD renewal processing , previous employer has revoked i-140 and couple days back USCIS sent a letter to submit alternate evidence i.e new i-140 approval or H1B under AC21.. but my wife's h1b is on 3rd year extension.. Any advices? |

Topic: Approved H4 EAD thru previous employer, changed employer
Hello there ,
My H4 EAD is valid till SEP2016 by previous employer “A” approved I-140, few weeks’ back we have changed to employer “B” and transferred and got our H1/H4 approval till SEP2019. And now, our previous employer wants to withdraw i-140 in MAY2016.
My question:
1)If previous employer withdrawn i-140, will my H4 EAD still be valid? &
2)Can I apply for renewal of my H4 EAD before my previous employer withdrawn i-140 (MAY2016), so that I can get new H4 EAD with new H4 approval date i.e. SEP2019
Please let me know the best possible ways.

Hi Guys,
My H4 EAD was approved with previous employer-A and now my husband taking Full time job with xyz company ( Employer-B ) and now Employer A want's to withdrawn my husband's i-140 in couple months, and employer B need atleast one plus year to apply Labour and i-140.
My question, what are the best options i have to keep my H4-EAD active, incase if employer A withdrawn my husband's i-140.

Hi,
It happened same for me too. It's almost one month USCIS sent the card but USPS misplaced it. I gave tons of complaints to USPS and still following up with them. As of now no updates.. Again do we need to re-apply same as new one to get EAD or do we have any replacement EAD form.. Please let me know if you have any details about this.

Thank you very much for your response. I did gave complaint in local USPS, still those guys are working on it and since 2+ weeks there is no update's from them. I keep on calling customer care and also visiting USPS. Not sure what to do. It's almost 30 days i missed my EAD and i checked with USCIS and they too didn't receive my card back.

Hello there,
As per USCIS my H4 EAD card was delivered to me on 15thAUG thru USPS. I have checked USPS thru tracking number, they mentioned Card was delivered in my mailbox on 15thAUG2015, i did checked on sameday but i didn't find priority mail sent by USCIS along with my EAD and from very next day i was keep on following up with USPS / Leasing Office / USCIS about my missing card. Till now there is no update's on my missing H4 EAD card..
Did anyone go thru with this kind of issue ? If yes, please let me know tips to track my missing card.

Hi Logwaitforgc,
USCIS sent my EAD card thru USPS and i have tracked online and i can see they delivered my card in my mailbox on 15thAUG and i checked on same day but i didn't see my card in my mailbox or at leasing office, from next day i was following up with USPS and USCIS about my missing card but as of now there is no updates. Could you please let me know if your priority mail was dropped in your mailbox or leasing office ? Do someone need to sign it .. Please let me know .. You response will be highly appreciated.

yes,
my card was delivered on 15thAUG and since 2 weeks i was going around USPS and my leasing office, but no luck on my card and i even posted a paper ads on my mailbox about missing card and next day postman wrote "check with your leasing office" and i showed samething leasing and they said they dont have any details and again i have posted same ads on my mailbox, but this time postman throwed my ads paper. I am sure it was totally USPS mistake and they have misplaced the card. I don't know what to do now ..

I am on same boat now, when i checked with tracking number it's show item delivered in my mailbox, but i didnt see in the mailbox. i tried tracking with USPS but no luck.. Please let me know how did you find out that your EAD was delivered to other apartment.
Please let me know. It's almost 2 weeks , no clue on my EAD card :(

Same here, on May 29th they have received my application and sent me the notice and after that i didn't see any update's on USCIS status check.. Is there any number to contact them directly and check the status. I can see most of them got their EAD in 30days. | | | |
