Topic: profile evaluation for EB-1B pp NSC

what field are u in?

I disagree that letters dont matter....in fact it matters the most when your citation count (objective evidence) is less....if one has > 150 citations...yes nothing else probably matters that much...

u already have your GC....why r u on this forum? doing social service? lol thx anyways

reg EB1C scammers....the prez himself is a big scam artist...leave alone folks from info, wipro, tcs....i have lost hope on bringing any reform.

do you have a google scholar profile?

u need to manually search your citations and make a table of countries where it is being cited

download data, the journals where i have published gave me that data. Note that some journals have this some dont...its luck here...if u published a paper witha journal who cant track downlaods/online views u cant get that data

what si F1000 reviewerR?

well i have been cited 85 times..and some of those have been used in real world discoveries in electronics, biomedical, aerospace and automotive....i have worked in 3 companies. technically wahtever job i did develops a product that has practical usage. In fact anybody who is working in the tech industry at any level is indirectly contributing to some real world application...

so i dont get your point fully....i already have more than needed reco letters... too much information is also bad ...

cool thx. r u familiar with any online analytics tools that shows your percentile based on your citation counts in that field? like if i have 100 citations in CSE, am i better than 90 %-95 % of CSE folks in the world?

i reached to david zitzat today. He is claiming that he hardly losing EB-1B cases and has special expertise in handling weaker profiles. Wanted to know is his skill in showing the evidence or does he have any special tools to showcase that.

Thx

Topic: EB1B profile review

you mean i need to present all the 50 papers? each paper could be 3-10 pages long !!!

my lawyer said just proof of completion is enough from my accounts page

Also there was a conference where i reviewed 16 articles, but that online database is closed and i cant view them anymore. I got a letter from the conference chair that I did review 16. Is that enough?

4. I got a letter from IEEE President that this feat is achieved by < 10 % of existing 450, 000 members in 160 countries. she also claimed the reasons for selecting me....research, international, 3 reco letters...

but VC told me AAO has denied sr IEEE membership in the past so confused

did you file your case in PP thru NSC?

Topic: citation metrics and rankings

I am looking for an online free/not so expensive resource that can tell my percentile or ranking in the field based on my h-index or number of citations accrued..

For. ex: if i have x # citations. Am i in the top 10 % , 20, or 50 % of the folks in the field. I know ESI from clarivate does this but it is very expensive if your university or org does not have a tie up with them.

thank you

Topic: profile evaluation for EB-1B pp NSC

Looking for honest evaluation

1. Field of application: Microelectronics Engineering
2. 7 papers, 1 international conference presentation
3. 85 citations (no self) spread in 22 countries, over 2000 downloads and online views of my papers in > 30 countries.
4. 9 RECOMMENDATION Letters ( 7 independent, 5 outside USA). 6 of them gave me letters based on how my research was useful to them.
5. peer reviewed close to 50 papers (28 journal, 22 conference). Editorial board member for 4 journals,
6. 4 recommendation letters from journal editors claiming my expertise and reasons for selecting me to the board.
7. Sr IEEE Member (Only 10 % of > 400K members are given this status)

Concern: low citations as case going to NSC and i need to get PP due to personal reasons and time constraints

any tips to overcome low citations?

you are absolutely WRONG. EB1B is not same as EB1A. Why would they have 2 categories if same criteria applies? think before u blabber

if you login to journals, they now show timeline of events, and show lis tof articles stating that review is completed. Is it sufficent to show this? or do i have to show emails? I have 50 + plus reviews...showing invite emails and then thank you emails means 100 email attachments...what do u suggest?

Topic: strategies for overcoming low citation counts in EB-1 at NSC

No...unfortunately most of my citations are mere references highliting a concept, table, graph etc. Not many are majorly inspired by my work. What do I do?
