Good news !! Just now status changed to Issued in CEAC.
As i guessed it was just PIMS verification which took 2 complete days after interview on 5-Dec (VO precisely mentioned i should get update in 1-2 days. VO did not say it is PIMS, but mentioned petition not electronically scanned by USCIS, could be PIMS as per my search)
Case Creation Date: 02-Dec-2016
Status Updated Date: 08-Dec-2016

If I transfer and go for stamping, what are the chances of this 221g. 20%, 50% or 99%.
And if there is a 221g, then what are chances of getting visa?
The question is too generic without providing many details.

Transfer what ? from where to where ?

Chances of getting 221g depends on many things. Even if everything is good with your company, things may go wrong like PIMS verification etc.

After getting 221g, In most of the cases eventually visa will be issued. But no one knows when (IMO most of us and our jobs cannot wait just like that)

Hyderabad 221G White slip
Interview date : 05/12/2016
VO asked basic questions and took PP, I797. After verifying few mins, said petition not electronically scanned in the system.
Retained PP, petition and handed over white slip without asking any docs. VO mentioned this should get resolved in 1-2 days.
Background:
Completed 6 yrs of H1B and H1B extension with approved I140
Fulltime with big US company
CEAC status:
Case Creation Date: 02-Dec-2016
Status Updated Date: 07-Dec-2016 ( till today morning this date was my interview date 05-Dec)
Any one in similar boat ? |

Actually my visa getting expired in next 40 days, i am in hurry to get new passport first and apply visa extension.
I tried reaching BLS and they do not have any information after submitting to consulate. Today i sent email to Consulate requesting status of my renewal (You will find email in respective consulate website under "Contact Us"). Consulate was generous and prompt for the query and replied with in one hour saying "Your passport has been dispatched from India and we should have it this week."
I will update my status once i receive any further update. |
