How sure we are that status is not impacted when prudential revocation takes place while we are in U.S.

Asking this because

1. I have recently seen a person who applied H1 extension got a rejection saying that you are out of status from the day you got revocation Email.
2. Another guy got picked up by ICE and placed in removal proceedings:

I have been following AILA meetings with Dept of State where they discuss this - Not once USCIS clarified that there won't be any impact on people living here in US while the revocation took place. (It's all vague answers everytime)

Please post anything you know on this here. It is scary to live here with the revocation in India.

Thanks!!!

I can't speak to #1, but #2 is pretty clear. DOS clarified in their meeting with AILA. Read link below. The issue you raised is from early last year when it was not clear.

Hey, Thanks! I read that. I am never impressed with their answers though. To the straight question whether removal proceedings are going to be for people with prudential revoc, they said that they discussed with ICE and no policy change.

Anyway just worried will that ever going to repeat if we stay here any longer without attempting to restamp the visa
