H4 EAD October application, SR response

Hi,
I applied for H4 EAD, standalone application, new in Oct 17. Recd date was 13 Oct.

I raised SR on 77th Day on 28 Dec, and received response in mail. It says that the case is approaching regulatory time limit for processing, and it has been assigned to officer. I should see approval or notice of action in next 60 days from the date of the letter (dated 29 Dec 2017).

Did you got your EAD on time?

and also how did you raise SR on 77th day. I also need to raise SR. Please suggest.

Hi Raja,
You should see an option called "Submit a case inquiry" in the page where you check the status. In that, choose "case outside normal processing time" if your application has been pending for more than 75 days and you didn't get any update.

My wife had applied on October 6th 2017 , Her application was approved and the card was sent for production on January 5th. Hope this info helps !!

Thanks for the reply. Do post in the thread when you get the actual card via postal mail, so people can know roughly how many days it takes from the status getting updated to "new card is being produced" to actually receiving the card. Also, post for how long is the EAD valid. All the best !

H4 EAD + COS F1-H4 : RD 10/5/2017
H4EAD: New card is being produced 1/30/2018
F1 - H4 COS: Case is received

Any one had similar case ? No change in I539 status but I765 status change to new card being produced.
