Hi Everybody,

My name is Alex, I have submitted my NIW application on June 15th and I'm waiting to hear back from the I-140 case.
According to the tracker, TSC are processing May and June cases right now (and even some July/August Cases according to V.Chen).

I think some of us who filled in May/June should hear back from USCIS really soon.

Let's share our cases/approvals or any information we may have.

Alex

Hi All

I have filed on Jun 6,2017

I did not hear any updates!

However, they updated the timeline for TSC, they are processing cases after JULY 15.

I FEEL THEY SKIPPED MANY OF US FROM JUNE.

any ideas

I filed on Jun 14. Nothing yet. Postponed my travel plans twice waiting on the EAD. I don't understand how most folks got it in 2 months and in my case 5 months with no response. SR didn't help either

Hi Alex,

My immigration attorney has submitted my EB2-NIW on 15 of July 2017 to TSC, and it was approved on 13 of September 2017. Good luck.

Awesome and congratulation USAFOREVER1.

How did you learn it was approved? Online status, mail? and when did you receive the notification?

Anyway, good news and good luck for the rest of your application!

Hi Alex,
They did send me mail that stated it was approved. I received USCIS notification on 17 of September 2017. The decision was made on 13 of September. EB2-NIW is depend of what you have in turn of qualification, and the country that you are coming from. Let me know if you need more information.

It seems people applying through V Chen receive their I140 earlier. I see quite a few accepted cases filed on August (and at least one from September) in her website.

I do not think that Chen is the key here, others applying through Chen and still wait. I think it depends on the officer, work load. No one till now knows how they are processing and why it takes time for some and some not.

I think too that Chen is a key here, although your application has higher chance of approval if you do I-140 with a lawyer. 20% of all denials or RFE is due to incomplete application or the application was filled incorrectly. NWI is mainly about the country that you are coming from and what type of proffesion that the USA can benefit and whether your work is a national interest of the USA. My was approved only in 57 days, but I know people do wait much longer than 57 days to hear from USCIS respond. Also it is depend on the officer whether the officer like your case or not.

I mean Chen is not a key factor.

Hi guys,
I have a question for those of you who have received both A) I140 approval and B) EAD/AP approval. Did you receive email/text notification (and USCIS case update) for:
1. both
2. A) and not B)
3. B) and not A)
4. none
The reason i am asking is because a lot of trackitters have written that they received their I140 approval by mail without any text/email/case update. I have received text and email update for my EAD approval but there has been no update regarding I140 since case received (apparently USCIS are doing august I140s now based on their latest processing time update). I was wondering if someone got text/update for EAD approval but not for I140.

Hi Guys

My lawyer just emailed me and told me that my 140 is approved. It was approved from a week but they did not update the system or sent emails. He received my approval in the mail.

Thank you all

I received the update of EAD/131 several days after the approval (may be a week).
Also, the I-140 is not updated online till now, although we received the mail approval

It seems that Texas are not caring about the updates or emails

Congrats...did u receive approval mail yourself as a petitioner. I am curious as to whether it's only the lawyer who gets the mail or applicant/petitioner as well for NIW. Thanks.

It depends, during filling the application : did u selected to receive any mails or forms from USCIS?
In my case, I knew that I will move to another job role, so my lawyer elected to have all fomorms sent to him.

For example, even my finger print was sent to him but I did it in the nearest office to my home.

I hope this answer your question

If a case is approved without RFE, the processing time will be shorter. Also, if the lawyer is good at following up with the USCIS when cases are outside the processing time, maybe the case will be approved faster, too. Other than that, it's all about luck.

Also, guys

You can email your congressman or senators and ask them to inquire about your case

Mine is also early June filling (concurrent filling of I-140 and I-485). The details are:
RD: June 12, 2017
EAD and With AP received early October, 2017. It was updated online/text by the USCIS.
No updates about I-140 so far.
