Hi Anand,

What you said is what I also heard from other folks so far. But recently one of my friend who applied both 485 and 140 in concurrent process in March 2017, for some reason he got the his Finger Print done and also received EAD. He thought he almost got his I140 also approved. But his I140 was pending at that time. He recently received RFE and waiting to send the response.

I pressed the thumbs down on your comment by mistake, was trying to add this comment, mistakenly pressed the thumbs down don't know how to get that out. But anyway here is the info from my end on your question.
